From Invisible to Inbound Engine
🚀 Project Overview
Eagle Alpha, a leading alternative data marketplace, faced a common challenge: strong product, weak discoverability.
When I began working with their team, the site had very little organic traction.
Most inbound leads came from manual outreach, email campaigns, events, and whitepapers,
organic SEO was an untapped opportunity.
🔍 My Approach
Technical SEO audit & implementation
Built out targeted landing pages with and optimized content strategy
Integrated internal linking and schema with a cornerstone piece of content on ‘What is Alternative Data’
Developed a keyword strategy aligned to buyer intent
Set up Search Console performance tracking and KPIs
📈 Results (Based on GSC Data)
Between Q1 2024 and Q2 2025:
Total clicks grew from 172 to 981 — a 470% increase
Impressions jumped from ~49K to over 363K
Average position improved from 45.7 to 36.9 — a major gain in a niche, competitive space. Prior to the SEO work they were not ranking for many non-branded keywords so to improve the average position while also greatly increasing visibility for non-branded keywords really helped here
Additionally:
75% of new inbound leads now originate from organic traffic, a huge shift from before SEO efforts began
Landing pages I created now serve as top entry points to the site, driving high-intent traffic and contributing directly to lead capture
